With a warmth and energy irresistible, this annual celebration focuses on being a bright spot in the lives of the people of Oklahoma City by hosting a family-friendly block party. The organization wanted this year's theme wanted to express their desire to be a "different kind of light" in their city that would welcome outcasts and outlaws alike with an approach as unique as their target market. Through the exploration and research of a variety of lighting options, a system was found that cast a brilliantly colored shadow which inspired the artwork. Children were even able to interact with their own colorful shadows on a customized light wall at the celebration.
